The Claud Powell Chamber Orchestra is a small friendly community group of amateur orchestral players from Guildford and the surrounding area who meet together on Monday evenings in Shalford Village Hall. We rehearse and get to know three of four masterpieces over 10 weeks each academic term for the love of the music without the need to plan a performance. Our musical director and conductor is international award-winning Matthew Lloyd-Wilson.
